Cara Ginifer Morrill passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday April 20th, 2022.
A beloved Daughter, Granddaughter, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, and Friend. She is survived by her parents Diane and Larry Morrill, sister Carolyne and husband Fabian Rubio, sister, Caryn and husband Jason and nephews Brydan and Carson Trujillo and brother Gary Morrill.
Cara was born on June 22, 1995 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was fortunate to be home schooled by Mary Yanalcanlin who inspired her love of the outdoors. Cara was graduate of Alamogordo High School Class of 2013.
Cara was a beautiful, smart, funny, and artistic person who was blessed with an angelic voice. She was passionate about the arts, writing, music of many different genres, and visiting places with historical and cultural significance. A vocal activist for causes including Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ rights, she cared deeply about her fellow humans.
Cara had the most beautiful and infectious smile that could light up any room. Because of her extremely sociable personality, she had the ability to make friends with strangers instantaneously. Cara shined in customer service roles and loved working with children.
Reportedly she was considered the “favorite” Aunt to her nephews Brydan and Carson.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of Life Service was held Monday, April 25th in the Scenic Chapel 1334 N Scenic Drive Alamogordo, New Mexico
The Morrill family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel to direct the funeral services.
