Norma Nelson

Norma Nelson, 82, passed away on December 5, 2022 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was born on July 4, 1940 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Connie H and Edwina (Neve) Danley. 

Norma Mae Nelson was born Fourth of July 1940 and passed Monday December 5th at the age of 82. 

Norma is survived by her three sons, Douglas, his wife Donnette, Leland, his wife Jennifer, Micheal, and his wife, Jan; her sister, Leona, and Leona’s daughters, Sena and Casey;  sister-in-law, Jane Drunzer and her husband, Michael Drunzer, and Jane’s daughters, Jesselyn Harrison, husband, Casey and Cory Danley;  8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive her. 

Norma is proceeded in death by the love of her life husband, Freddie D Nelson; parents, Connie H and Edwina Danley; and brothers, Bill, Jim, and Edwin Danley. 

Norma and her husband Freddie owned Nelson Concrete and Alamo Do-it Center in the 1980s and 90s and enjoyed being small business owners in their beloved Alamogordo. 

The funeral service for Norma Nelson will be held at Scenic Chapel on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM.

Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
